Adding a gasket to plastic lids becomes a hassle because the typical plastic lids kink and move the gasket when screwed into place. The Myco Lid Pro® is designed to be used with a separate locking band that moves independently of the lid when being screwed down tight. This circumvents any kinking and ensures a sterile seal.
